Concerto for Strings in D minor I. Allegro by A. Vivaldi

Determination. Resoluteness

Future (Great Horseman) (Great Red Hero (Rigden Jyepo – King of Shambhala)) by Nicholas Roerich. 19271. "But he who is armed with the power of decision will not regret anything from the past when he knows the path leading into the future. It is not just readiness that is needed, but decisiveness. You understand the difference between these words. We teach how to develop decisiveness so that no earthly circumstances can influence the ability to decide. There were times when attachment to insignificant earthly objects influenced not only the destiny of individuals but that of entire nations. It is shameful when an object made by human hands can interfere with the path of true achievements." [Supermundane, 141]

2. "If co-measurement is not observed, resoluteness also goes to ruin. Our resoluteness reaches to the utmost limit.  It is not the kind of resoluteness that proceeds in comfort, in conformity with personal habits, not the kind that bends to the body’s benefit. Our resoluteness is only confined by the limits of the spirit. …Just as a magnet’s center exerts attraction, the fundamental quality of resoluteness is invincibility." [Leaves of Morya’s Garden II, 317]

3. "If there is a determination of the spirit and dedication, then such strongholds will be created that no poisons, no tools will destroy." [Comparison by Nicholas Roerich]

4. "An ocean of possibilities is given. But you need to be able to take opportunities. From the possibility to mastering it, there is a whole abyss. There are many of them, filled with missed opportunities. Iron, steady, diamond determination is the first condition..." [Facets of Agni Yoga 1951, 172]

5. "At times of particular tension, a feeling similar to despair may arise. This is not a hopeless condition, for it carries within it the seed of resolute decisiveness." [Supermundane, 262]

6. "... The stages of necessity are brought to the degree of ardent, explicit, convincing, logical, self-evident dynamic immutability. It is necessary, because otherwise it is impossible, because otherwise it is unthinkable. The rage of persuasiveness wins. You can hesitate: it is worth or not worth doing something, but when there is no other way out and there is no other solution, but there is only one thing - the path is straight. I am bringing consciousness into a state of unshakable determination." [Facets of Agni Yoga 1952, 320]
