Vigilance

Landscape by Svetoslav Roerich. 19531. "...All vigilance is needed, and all fear should be rejected. ...Fortunately, vigilance can be developed without limit, and one should not hesitate to repeat that at times of highest tension, the highest degree of vigilance must be manifested. It is not fear that compels one to such an affirmation, but a desire to serve in the best possible way. Heroes are born out of this desire." [Supermundane, 513]

It must be remembered that each increased ignition attracts a lot of fire extinguishers that do not tolerate bright light. Therefore, the remembrance of the incessant danger always accompanies the joy and admiration of an experienced traveler. Vigilance does not extinguish the delight of the spirit, on the contrary, from the combination of these two seemingly contradictory qualities, fire acquires greater stability and aspiration. ... Consciousness is the guardian of the burning spirit, and sobriety and understanding of the environment are always required from the guardian." [Еxcerpts by Boris Abramov from the book "Aspiring Heart" 1954, 300]
